About The Collection
A wise woman (may she rest in peace) once told me that it is by far too easy to be persuaded by the forces of fear and anger. Always look for the good in people and always look toward the light.
Patti Calleia has been a professional fine artist for over twenty years. She has a degree in art history and has worked in both the Nassau County Museum of Fine Arts in Roslyn, New York and in the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum in New York City. Her artwork has won many awards, and her paintings are in more than two hundred private collections worldwide. Utilizing the knowledge she has gained working in the museums and her personal experience as an artist, she founded Amethyst Arts. This is where she has applied her knowledge of art history and fine art skills to the decorative arts.
